Questions, answered.
What does Provisant do?
Provisant is an eLearning development company. We build custom training courses, host them on a custom-branded training platform, and offer a catalog of ready-made courses that runs on the same platform.
How long does a custom course take to build?
Speed. We're driven by speed. The total time is dependent on the overall size of your course. A good standard is one hour of essential training (slide to slide interactions, audio narration, captions, transcript, knowledge checks, locked navigation, a post-assessment) requires one month of full time development. One hour of advanced training (essential plus gamified and simulation interactions) requires three months of full time development.
How long does it take to get set up and running on the Provisant learning platform?
24 hours. Speed. We're driven by speed.
Can Provisant update or fix training we already have?
Yes. Speed. We're all about speed. We modernize courses, correct bugs, publish for any hosted environment, publish for SCORM 2004 and 1.2 compatibility, incorporate Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards, and provide general industry consultation, expertise, and guidance on innovation, success factors, and best practices.
What does the Provisant platform cost?
The learning platform is $1 per user per month. Bundled with access to the course catalog, it is $5 per user per course per year. Annual billing saves 20%.
Is there a minimum number of users for the platform?
No. The minimum number of users is one.
What subjects does the course catalog cover?
The catalog currently holds 40+ courses across six areas: AI Upskilling, Banking & Finance, Cybersecurity, Franchise & Multi-Location, Healthcare & Pharma, and SaaS & Technology. If you don't see a course you need, we'll build it. We'll completely customize your training catalog.
What is included in a Provisant course?
Courses run about 30 minutes and include audio narration, captions, a transcript, knowledge checks, locked navigation, a post-assessment, and a certificate of completion.
Are Provisant courses SCORM compatible?
Yes. Courses are delivered as SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 packages, so they can be hosted on the Provisant platform or on your own LMS.
Are Provisant courses Section 508 and WCAG compliant?
Yes. Courses are built to meet Section 508 and WCAG accessibility requirements.
What is the difference between the content development team and the eLearning development team?
The content development team handles course writing, planning, and storyboarding — everything needed to begin programming. The eLearning development team is the programmers who build it. Both start at $499 per month, and each can be engaged separately.
Who has Provisant worked with?
Provisant has delivered training to more than 300,000 learners across federal agencies and enterprise organizations.
